Club Membership

Gymnastics and Trampoline clubs apply to GNS to become a member. Benefits of a GNS membership include access to coach training and technical program information from Gymnastics Canada. GNS member clubs are provided with insurance for coaches, supporters and individual members. GNS membership provides community members with confidence that all coaches are thoroughly screened. Individual members of GNS clubs have access to sanctioned events such as competitions, both in and out of the province. Registered members are considered members of the sport’s national governing body, Gymnastics Canada. Approval of a new club is pending application requirements. Looking for a Gymnastics Club?

GNS Membership is valid from September 1st to August 31st. All members must be registered by October 15th. All clubs must meet the minimum standards set out in the Policy Manual (link) for coach and supervisory coach levels, and must meet the minimum requirements for equipment safety and facility norms

Participant Memberships

GNS member clubs must register each participant in any recreational or competitive program. Gymnastics Nova Scotia membership is required to access the insurance, programs and services provided by the Association. Registered members of Gymnastics Nova Scotia are considered members of the sport’s national governing body, Gymnastics Canada.
